Centerville native and professional photographer and musician, Bill Steber, is exhibiting his 25-year long photographic project celebrating the Blues at the Hickman County Public Library in Centerville. This exceptional exhibit, "Stones in My Pathway," is free to the public during library hours from April 7th through May 31st. A reception to meet the artist has been planned for May 5th at 5:00 p.m. at the Public Library in Centerville. This exhibit displays talent combined with passion from one of Hickman County's inspiring citizens.
The Blues exhibit is in conjunction with a concert by Steber's band, the Jake Leg Stompers. The Hickman Heritage Music Fest concert is sponsored by the Hickman County Public Library and is slated for Saturday, May 6th at 7:00 p.m. The concert features prewar jug band music, which will be presented at Mrs. Mable's Back Porch at the Hickman County Fairgrounds.
Concert Tickets: $15 for adults, $8 for school age children. Group rates are available.
